What should I expect during my first massage session?
Your first session will begin with a brief consultation to discuss your health history, any areas of concern, and your wellness goals. I will tailor the session to your specific needs using a blend of therapeutic techniques.

How long is a typical session?
I offer 30-minute, 60-minute, and 90-minute personalized therapeutic massage sessions. Each session includes hands-on treatment time, with a few minutes set aside for consultation and aftercare recommendations.

What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing. Depending on the type of massage, you may be asked to undress to your comfort level. You will always be draped appropriately for privacy and warmth.

Do I need to arrive early for my appointment?
For your first session, arriving 5-10 minutes early allows time for intake paperwork and consultation. For follow-up appointments, arriving on time ensures you get the full duration of your session.

How often should I get a massage?
Frequency depends on your personal wellness goals. Some clients benefit from monthly maintenance sessions, while others with chronic pain or high stress may schedule biweekly or weekly treatments.

Massage & Benefits

What are the benefits of massage therapy?
Massage can help:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety

  • Alleviate muscle tension and pain

  • Improve circulation and flexibility

  • Support recovery from injuries

  • Enhance overall relaxation and well-being

What techniques do you use?
Each session is customized with techniques such as myofascial release, deep tissue, orthopedic sports massage, hot stones, cupping, reflexology, and aromatherapy to best meet your needs.

Will the massage be painful?
Massage should never be unbearably painful. Deep tissue techniques may cause temporary discomfort in areas of tension, but I will always adjust the pressure to your preference. Communication is key!

Can massage help with chronic pain conditions?
Yes! Many clients with conditions such as fibromyalgia, sciatica, tension headaches, back pain, and tennis elbow experience relief through regular massage therapy. While not a cure, massage can be a powerful tool for managing symptoms.

Appointments & Policies

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 12 hours of the appointment will result in the session being forteited for package members. For non-members, cancellations within 12 hours will result in loss of payment.

What if I arrive late?
If you arrive late, I will accommodate you within the remaining session time, but the full session fee still applies.

Are there any conditions where massage is not recommended?
Massage may not be suitable for individuals with:

  • Certain acute injuries

  • Fever or contagious illness

  • Uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • Recent surgery or deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

If you have concerns, consult your doctor before booking a session.

Do you accept same-day appointments?
Same-day appointments may be available depending on my schedule. Check online or text me to inquire about availability.

What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, credit/debit cards, and ACH withdrawals for memberships.
